French futur simple worksheet
Endings from avoir, stems that are mostly the infinitive — plus the dozen that aren't.
The futur simple adds avoir's present endings to the full infinitive, which makes the regular cases easy and the irregular stems (ser-, aur-, ir-, fer-, pourr-, viendr-, verr-) the entire lesson. This sheet mixes both so students cannot assume the stem and have to recall it.

How to use this worksheet
- Set the verb group to irregular verbs for a second sheet that drills only the awkward stems.
- The futur simple and the conditionnel share every stem — teach them back to back and reuse the same verb set.
- Remind students that -re verbs drop the final e (prendre → je prendrai), a frequent silent error.

Questions teachers ask
Does the worksheet include irregular future stems?
Yes. Because the pool is the 100 most frequent verbs, the irregular stems of être, avoir, aller, faire, pouvoir, venir and voir appear regularly.
Can I compare futur simple and conditionnel on one sheet?
Set the level to B1 and choose “Mixed tenses”. Both appear, each question labelled, which is the fastest way to expose the ending difference.
