Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. You can use Bonjour Verbs fully anonymously. Sign-in is only required if you want to back up your progress or sync across devices.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. All verbs, conjugations, lessons, and quizzes work without an internet connection. Sync (if you have an account) happens automatically when you're back online.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Through the store you subscribed via:

  • iOS: Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → Bonjour Verbs Pro → Cancel.
  • Android: Google Play Store app → menu → Subscriptions → Bonjour Verbs Pro → Cancel.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You'll keep Pro access until then.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are handled by the stores, not us:

  • iOS: reportaproblem.apple.com
  • Android: open the Google Play Store, find Bonjour Verbs in your order history, tap "Request refund".

If the stores deny the refund and you believe you have a legitimate case, email us, we may be able to help.

I found a wrong conjugation. What do I do?

Please tell us! Email support@bonjourverbs.com with the verb, tense, and the form you saw. We verify against authoritative sources and push corrections in the next update.

Can you add verb [X]?

Probably yes. We're at 2,000+ verbs in Pro. Email a request with the verb and a quick reason it's useful (e.g. "common in Quebec workplaces") and we'll prioritize it.

I want to delete my account.

In-app: Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion is immediate. Local data on the device where you delete is also wiped; on other devices, it's removed when you uninstall the app.

The app crashed. How do I report it?

Crashes are automatically reported to us (anonymized, no personal content). If a crash repeats, please email us with what you were doing when it happened.

Is there a Mac, Windows, or web version?

Not currently. Bonjour Verbs is iOS and Android only. A web companion may come in the future, let us know if you'd use one.

Join the Android beta

The Android app is in closed testing on Google Play. Two quick steps and you're in.

    Make sure you use the same Google account you use on the Play Store. If you don't, the listing in step 2 won't show up.
