French tenses worksheet

Single-tense worksheets measure whether students can follow a pattern. Mixed-tense worksheets measure whether they can choose one. Each question here is labelled with its tense and drawn from présent, passé composé, imparfait, futur simple, conditionnel and subjonctif, which makes it the sheet to use before an exam rather than after a lesson.

Which tenses does the mixed worksheet cover?

Présent, passé composé, imparfait, futur simple, conditionnel présent and subjonctif présent. The CEFR level setting controls how many of them appear.

Does each question say which tense it wants?

Yes. In mixed mode every question is labelled with its tense, so the exercise tests conjugation rather than guesswork.
