French passé composé worksheet

The passé composé is where French conjugation stops being mechanical. Students have to pick être or avoir, then produce a participle that may or may not be regular, then agree it if the auxiliary is être. Writing the full form out by hand — no multiple choice — is what makes those three decisions stick.
